WARNING! Don't buy tickets from 'GETMEIN' !!!

I have just been stung by this company.
I bought or thought I had tickets for a 'Paramore' company priced £66.10 and received tickets for £24.50 each.
With postage etc, I have overpaid £83.00 approx and there is nothing I can do about it.
The company is a 'ticketmaster' company and apparently the face value price ie: £24.50 was apparently visible on the screen when I bought them but I just can't believe that. It must have been so small as I always check carefully buying anything online!
I called GETMEIN and they can't refund me any money even though they hold on to it until after the event!
I am so cross and so sorry that my son has such cheap tickets when I paid for him to have much better ones!
If you are reading this blog, please warn everyone you know!!!

Should stop stressing!

So, I am on annual leave from work hooray!
I should be de stressing but me de-Stress, nope, I am getting more stressed about going away on holiday on Saturday. Probably because we are flying to Jersey. That's not far you may think but i haven't flown for 21 years and the kids have never flown.
So how do I fit the kitchen sink into two suitcases? what do I leave out? underwear? makeup? tolietries? clothes?
I'm sure I'll get there eventually. Well, I might if I get off the computer and actually go and do the packing I'm stressing about.
see you soon.

The Zoo!

Well, off we went for a family outing to the Zoo!
The animals thought that we were there to entertain them as we jumped up and down clicking and whistling to attract their attention at the side of their cages.
The signs on the insides of the cages read "Do not feed the people they may bite!" and judging by the other people wandering around cooing and pointing at the monkeys hanging upside down and trying to ignore us, some of them probably do.

We managed to come home with only one more soft toy to add to our daughters soft toy collection which is quite an achievement considering the fact that there were three different shops around the zoo all stuffed full of toys to tempt the cash out of the mums and dads with whine's of "I know I already have 25 soft Tigers but I really really need one more!"

Well, we all managed to enjoy the day. I even managed to pull a Gorilla! he stared at me through the bars and even slapped his lips in the form of a kiss. I mean he possibly just wanted to attack me but I like to think he fancied a blond woman for a change.
My husband said he would be happy for me to move in with my new man!

We left the animals at the end of the day breathing a huge sigh of relief as the metal containers in the car park filled with people and pulled away.
"Wow we got through today!" they all thought "until opening time tomorrow when they will all come back to gawp at us again."

New to blogging!

Well, i've wanted to do this blogging lark for sometime but wasn't really sure how to do it.
I discovered how when I read an article in the Prima magazine so here I am!
I don't know if I've got much of any real interest to say but I suppose that doesn't matter too much.
Then again, I have had and am having quite an unusual life and i'd like to write about it bit by bit.
To put some of my story on screen? well why not!
